Europe’s largest LGBTQIA+ rights event to be held in June 2027
Port, November 2, 2024 – Today in Porto, Portugal, during the Annual General Meeting of EPOA (European Pride Organisers Association) Turin was voted as the venue for EuroPride 2027 by Pride delegations from all over Europe. Besides Turin, the other candidate cities were Vilnius (Lithuania), Torremolinos (Spain) and Gloucestershire (UK). Turin won on the first ballot, without the need for further rounds, a sign of overwhelming support for the bid from all European delegations.
“We have been working as a team on Turin’s candidacy since 2017, so to have succeeded in realizing this dream makes us proud and proud. – comments Alessandro Battaglia, who coordinated Torino Pride’s candidacy for EuroPride 2027 – A long and arduous path whose intermediate stage was theAGM hosted in Turin in 2021.
